Successes in Hospitality DEI Panel

The Collins College's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee held its first panel event for students on March 21, 2023 where industry partners discussed their professional successes as they pertain to DEI in the workplace.
Panelists included , Region Vice President of ; , Collins College Board of Advisors member and Vice President of Corporate Accounts for , President and Founder of . and the newest member of the college's Board of Advisors; and , Dual General Manager of Marriott's and Hotels in downtown Los Angeles.
Moderated by Dr. E'Lisha Fogle, Assistant Professor and Chair of The Collins College DEI Committee, panelists dove into their years of impressive industry experience to discuss what their organizations are actively doing to promote DEI within their company while offering advice to students. They talked about why DEI is good for business and why being a diverse member of an organization is a personally positive attribute.
