At 博88亚洲, we are committed to the well-being of our faculty and staff. The Bronco Employee Relief Fund provides financial assistance to employees facing unforeseen emergencies or crises, ensuring our community remains strong and supported.

Program Overview

The Bronco Employee Relief Fund offers one-time grants to assist with unexpected financial hardships. These grants are designed to alleviate immediate burdens and help employees navigate challenging times.

Examples of qualifying emergencies:

  • Natural disasters leading to displacement or property loss
  • Victim of a crime or accident
  • Loss of a family member (funeral or travel expenses for bereavement)
  • Mental health crises requiring immediate financial assistance for therapy or support
  • Uninsured medical or dental emergencies
  • Eviction or risk of homelessness due to sudden financial hardship
  • Utility shut-off notices (electricity, water, gas) due to inability to pay
  • Other unforeseen events causing significant financial strain

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for assistance, applicants must:

  • Be a current faculty or staff member at 博88亚洲
  • Demonstrate an urgent financial need with supporting documentation
  • Experience an unforeseen emergency or crisis impacting personal and professional well-being

Application Process

  1. Submit Application: Complete the . 
  2. Confirmation: After submission, you'll receive a confirmation message acknowledging receipt. 
  3. Review: Your application will be reviewed by a selection committee, and you'll be notified of the decision via email. 

Note: The entire process may take a few weeks to allow for all submissions to be thoroughly reviewed by the selection committee.

Qualifying emergencies include, but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters leading to displacement or property loss

  • Victim of a crime or accident
  • Loss of a family member (funeral or travel expenses for bereavement)
  • Mental health crises requiring immediate financial assistance for therapy or support
  • Eviction or risk of homelessness due to sudden financial hardship

  • Other unforeseen events causing significant financial strain

Yes. The Fund prioritizes requests associated with federal, state, or local declared emergencies, such as natural disasters or public health crises. Applicants should specify the declared emergency in their application and provide relevant documentation.

No. All decisions made by the selection committee are final. Due to the limited nature of the fund, appeals are not accepted.​

Applicants must provide thorough documentation, including:
  • A detailed explanation of the emergency and its financial impact.
  • Supporting documents such as invoices, bills, or official notices that clearly show:
    • Total amount owed.
    • Date of the service or emergency.
    • Proof of insurance denial or ineligibility, if applicable.
  • Evidence of efforts to resolve the financial obligation, such as payment plans or communications with service providers.

Yes. The fund does not cover:
  • Routine or elective medical/dental procedures.
  • Utility bills, unless under extraordinary, documented circumstances.
  • Tax-related debts.
  • Bereavement-related travel, unless exceptional circumstances are documented.​

Applications are reviewed by a selection committee. Due to the volume of requests and limited funds, not all applications can be approved. Priority is given to emergencies associated with declared disasters.

Approved funds are processed through Enterprise Financial Services. If you have direct deposit set up, funds will be deposited directly into your account within a few business days. Otherwise, a check will be mailed to your address on file.

Please note that funds will be approved based on funding availability.

Yes, these funds will be considered as taxable income and you will be issued a 1099 by Enterprise Financial Services.

Yes, but with limitations.

Employees may submit one application every 12 months. This policy helps ensure that limited funds remain available to support as many employees as possible who are facing emergency situations.

However, exceptions may be considered in extraordinary circumstances, such as:
  • A new qualifying emergency (not related to a previous application)
  • Emergencies related to a federal, state, or local declared disaster
