Service Notices

The following describes planned maintenance and upgrades by the Division of Information Technology and Institutional Planning (IT&IP) over the next seven days.

BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft Maintenance

Summary: BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft will undergo planned maintenance on Thursday, February 6, from 8 p.m. to midnight.

What does this mean to me? All student administration and human resources functions will be unavailable.

BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft services impacted include:

  • BroncoDirect/Student Center
  • Class Enrollment
  • Payments
  • Degree Progress Reports
  • Class Search
  • HR Self-Service
    • Time & Labor
    • Absence Management
  • Student Employment Module
  • Part-Time Faculty Module
  • HR Reports

During this planned service interruption outside our regular maintenance windows, users will continue to be able to access MyCPP, Canvas, email, and other IT services. Areas in MyCPP that display information from BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft will be unavailable. The Division of Information Technology and Institutional Planning tries to minimize the time systems are unavailable outside our standard maintenance windows. PeopleSoft system maintenance is an exception because the Chancellor's Office schedules maintenance for all CSU campuses.

Kaltura Maintenance

Summary: IT&IP will update Kaltura, the online video streaming service used by CPP on Thursday evening, February 6, allowing files and videos to be permanently deleted. This feature was previously disabled.

What does this mean to me? Following this update, all file deletions are permanent; any deleted files cannot be restored.

Canvas Outcomes Maintenance

Summary: Canvas performed scheduled maintenance on Canvas Outcomes February 6, 2025 from 12:05 a.m. - 3:05 a.m.

What does this mean to me? Canvas Outcomes is used by faculty and administration to track student progress through their coursework. All other Canvas LMS features will be available during maintenance.

Correction: Last week's email published an error that this maintenance was to be performed on Februrary 2.

Pearson Maintenance

Summary: Pearson will be performing maintenance on Friday February 7, from 10 p.m. through 6 a.m. the following morning.

Pearson services (also integrated with Canvas) will be unavailable including:

  • All Mastering Courses
  • All Revel Courses

Pearson services that will remain available include:

  • Content downloaded to the Pearson+ and Revel mobile apps before maintenance begins.
  • XL MyLab
  • MathXL for School
  • Mastering Platform Update courses
  • Learning Catalytics
  • StatCrunch

Planned Maintenance Times

  • Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., midnight.
  • Sundays, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

During these times, online services may be briefly unavailable without advance notice.

These sessions feature industry experts who dive into current trends in AI and ML. All sessions premiere during Thursday's University Hour from 12 to 1 p.m. and later, available on demand.

  • CPP IT staff are available in-person and over the phone 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • If you can't log into the IT Service Desk portal or Chat Service, use the .
  • IT Support Services are not available during campus holidays and scheduled closures.
