About the option
Students in the Technology and Operations Management (TOM) option will focus on the design, implementation, control and improvement of processes and activities that are involved in the daily running of a business. Heavy emphasis is placed on the study of computer applications for helping managers plan, analyze data, make decisions and communicate. TOM students are provided a broad background in the field, after which they choose one of the following areas of specialization: Supply Chain Management, Management of Technology and Service Operations Management.

Career Outcomes
Overview
TOM students can get hands-on experience through a variety of organizations, including Operations Management Society (OMS), a business society club that represents the students of the TOM/EBZ department. Students can also join the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), a worldwide professional organization focused on the aspects and intricacies of supply chain and operations management.
