The College of Professional and Global Education is authorized to enroll international visa holders who are able to establish that they are maintaining their non-immigrant status with their sponsoring organizations. The College of Professional and Global Education does not issue form I-20 or form DS-2019 and Open University students are not considered to be full-time matriculated students for immigration purposes.

International students wishing to take classes through Open University must follow these steps for concurrent enrollment:

1. Consult your academic advisor at your home campus before enrolling in a course(s) at ²©88ÑÇÖÞ.
2. Request a letter of permission from a DSO/PDSO at the campus issuing your I-20. 
3. Bring a copy of your current I-20 and a current concurrent enrollment/letter of permission to the ²©88ÑÇÖÞ College of Professional and Global Education Registration office with your completed Open University petition form.  Completed petitions will not be accepted and registration will not occur until both of these documents are submitted.
4. Students requiring proof of enrollment at Cal Poly will need to print their own unofficial transcript from their BroncoDirect Student Center.  Requests for official transcripts must be submitted through the National Student Clearinghouse.
