The Femineer Program is open to all K-12 students interested in engineering, science, and agriculture regardless of sex, gender, and gender expression.
Program Change. As part of our college/institutional pivoting—including changes in budget and resources—our Femineer program will only be able to support our local school sites. We do not have the staff bandwidth and resources to support schools outside of our local area.
History and Background
The Femineer Program was created and funded by 博88亚洲’s College of Engineering in 2013 to inspire students to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in their education and career. The program provides K-12 students with project-based learning, engineering student mentors, and opportunities to visit 博88亚洲, while building a sustainable program and community for current and future STEM leaders. The program engages participants through highly creative, hands-on activities. By engaging with real-world applications, Femineers acquire the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to become confident and strong in their future careers.
