All of our mental health outreach events are led by mental health professionals with various areas of expertise.  Counseling and Psychological Services outreach events are held in-person.  Outreach events are open to ²©88ÑÇÖÞ students, faculty, staff, and campus partners.  Requests in advance are required.  Continue below for more information on our outreach events.

In addition to providing clinical services, our mental health professionals provide psychoeducation and prevention efforts through outreach presentations that address various mental health topics.  Faculty, staff, and student organizations may request outreach presentations that are audience-specific and tailored to a particular need.  To submit a presentation request, please fill out the .

The likelihood of honouring your request is increased significantly if there are alternative dates/times, and you submit a request at least three (3) weeks in advance.

All of our mental health professionals welcome students working to fulfill a class project or assignment.  We are happy to fulfill interview requests provided that we have a staff or administrative member available.  Interview requests are open to ²©88ÑÇÖÞ students - interviews from any non-university entities will be redirected to our Associate Vice President of Wellbeing & Support Services.  Interview requests in advance are required.  Continue below for more information about interviews.

Please be aware that all interview requests will be going through the Director of CAPS in order to be considered.  To initiate an interview request send us an e-mail to caps@cpp.edu and provide the following information:

• Provide your availability when we can schedule the interview during our normal business hours (Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. thru 5:00 p.m. only)
• Provide a brief overview of your project or assignment
• Provide a complete set of your interview questions (the purpose of this is to see who would be the best staff or administrative member to speak with)
• Provide details of any additional requests (e.g., audio recording, video recording)
• Provide a deadline for your assignment or desired completion date
• If appropriate, let us know if we can submit answers to your questions via e-mail communication

Interview requests may be granted within the next couple of weeks provided you present us with the aforementioned information and we have a staff member available to assist you.  Interview requests submitted within a seven (7) day deadline may not be granted due to staff schedules.
