Drop-in Hours Information
We have virtual zoom and in-person drop-in hours available to all currently enrolled undergraduate College of Science majors .
Our drop-ins hours are quick 10-15 minute meetings with advisors and operate on a first come, first serve basis. During drop-ins, our student assistants and academic advisors are available to help answer any quick questions you may have.
We do not schedule students to meet with advisors within our drop-in hours. If you want to meet with your assigned advisor, you would schedule an appointment with them.
You may join our zoom or in-person drop-in hours for any quick questions for the following reasons below:
- General Questions & Referrals

Spring 2025 Drop-in Hours Schedule :
Starting January 6th the College of Science Advising Center will start the spring semester drop-ins. Advisors’ availability outside of appointments and scheduled drop-in hours may vary.
For drop-in availability, please see our schedule below. During the semester, drop-in hours may be subject to change.
During our busy times (i.e., registration window, add/drop period, etc.), you may experience longer wait time of 30 minutes or more during our drop-in hours. Please be patient with us during these times.
We will be hosting weekly drop-ins, Monday - Friday, January 6th – May 9th. Below you may view the schedule for the Spring semester.
- Students who have Probation or Probation with Contract holds can meet with our Retention and Graduation Specialist Lorena Roman. She is available Mondays from 10am-12pm during Drop-In Hours.
- Starting March 18th, we will be hosting career center zoom drop-ins every Tuesday from 2pm - 4pm with the College of Science Career Coach DeVoneia Jordan! She will be available to help with resume review, grad school questions, career tools review, and other quick general questios. Click our link below to join.
